Furnace Run Chapel is a small church with a BIG HEART FOR GOD! Our church had it's beginning in 1914 when Rev. John Moore began an American Sunday School Union Sunday School here. Furnace Run Chapel has been in this community for over 105 years. Many people have been saved through this little church's ministry. Over the years, God has been good and has provided faithful servants to continue the ministry here.

In 1954, Furnace Run Chapel grew into a church organization and has continue on until today. Our mission here is to love the Lord our God with all of our hearts, with all of our souls and with all our minds. We also do our best to love each other and our neighbors as ourselves , so that others may know that we are Jesus' disciples and they too, may become disciples of Jesus.

We welcome anyone and everyone to join us as we join God, to keep His Kingdom growing in our generation and the next. We will do that by showing the love of Jesus wherever we are, with whomever we are with..
